So the week started off with splits, I went with my district leader Elder Batilong and we taught some people, after he took me to this mountain top and the view was so awesome. The air did not stink and I could actually see the mountains! it was beautiful. The next day was our mission tour with the area president Elder Bowen. He pretty much said that obedience is the most important thing we can have because if we are obedient we can ask God for things and honestly say to ourselves that we are doing our best. It was a great meeting and he gave us a formula to follow: Obedience + Faith = Miracles. And the next day we tested it out. we did everything exactly on time and when we went out we found a women who was looking for the LDS church. She wanted to be accomidated (baptized) into our church, miracle!. Hopefully that works out. I know that obedience brings miracles.
So one of our investigators, Alaysa is 17 and has a kid. SHe isnt married yet so before she can get baptized she has to get married or stop living with the man. We invited her to baptism on November 25 and she said "maybe next november" WHAT???? she seemed like the perfect investigator, she comes to church and even pays her tithing, we are not giving up on her yet. Hopefully she will realize the importance of baptism and accept it in the Lords time.
This week is rained really hard and both of my shoes got soaked. One pair already has mold on them but i wear them anyway. There was a little bit of flooding in our area but nothing too crazy. Today we played basketball with our zone and said good bye to Elder Uhler, he was a great ZL and missionary. I have 6 more weeks until my training is up, the language is hard and slowly coming. Sorry for the jumbled email. shout out to all my friends in the field and my cousin for getting married!! love you all!
