This week was Thanksgiving and also transfer week. I found out that I am being transferred to Lagro ward in Fairview zone, so I am in the same zone and stake just in another ward. Me and Elder Morris my tatay are splitting. My training is over and it is time to move on to greater pastures. My new companion is going home January 10 so in another 6 weeks I will have another companion. crazy stuff.
So this week was a really fun week. We had Thanksgiving on thursday and we all put away like 500 pesos for it so we could all have a feast. We made mashed potatoes that were divine. Also we got some chicken and rice and some soda. It was a great thanksgiving with my three fellow kabahays. On friday we had zone conference that lasted all day. It was really good and we learned about ITA's and how we can invite people to commit. Also about companionship unity and the atonement. Here in the philippines it is hard to stay focused during the sacrament because all the kids run wild and as a missionary it is easy to worry about investigators. So we made up some ways we can focus. For me, I am going to try and read through the sacrament hymns during the sacrament. The sacrament is so very important to us in our lives and I hope you all can find ways to focus during the sacrament. Anyway the week was very good. Erwins baptism is still up in the air but since I am leaving I wont get to see it but it will happen someday. Our bishop met with us and we worked out the bumps in our realtionship and he is willing to work with the missionaries again! thank goodness. We fed our left overs from thanksgiving to a dog across the street and he almost bit us in the process haha. Looking back on thanksgiving there is so much to be thankful for, all my family members, all my teachers, friends, and people I have met on my mission so far. I am so blessed and I just want to thank all of you for all your support and love. I hope you all have a great week, mahal kita
