This week was a pretty good one. We went on exchanges with the Tabang Elders because they were struggling in their area but we helped them, it was a really cool experience they are both pretty young in the mission so they did not really know how to use their time effectively. Hopefully what we did with them helps them in their work. We pretty much spent the entire week helping the progressing investigators get ready for their baptisms. We talked a lot with the bishop this week. Our bishop is the funniest guy ever. He is also a very good public speaker, he gave an awesome talk in sacrament, I wish i recorded it or something it was awesome. He is like the only one in the ward that realizes that sometimes the Filipino mindset makes it hard for the church to really progress here. He also does what he says he will do every time which I really respect. Anyways, this week all led up to today....we had a THANKSGIVING FEAST. We had our whole zone get together and we all ate and played games. I made the mashed potatoes and since we did not have anything I used a water bottle to mash them, it was messy and pretty palpak but it worked out in the end. Although they did not even compare to the mashed potatoes my grandparents make...I am not at that level yet.
Anyways this was my last thanksgiving on my mission, I wont forget, it was a good one.
I am thankful for so many things i cant make a list there would be no room... but most of all I am thankful for the opportunity that I have to be in the Philippines preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ to everyone and helping come unto Christ by being baptized. I would not want to be doing anything else at this time in my life. Gotta love the mish.
